I am very pleased to report that my GlowGreen solar and Tesla Powerwall 3 battery installation is working great! I have had a total of 17 panels installed across two roofs on my 5 year old house with its slate roof alongside the excellent 13.5kW Tesla PW3 battery. Obviously you need the sun to be shining to make the most of the solar, most of which I now export to the grid which more often than not puts my Octopus Energy account balance into positive territory but in any case with the PW3 battery, which I charge up overnight using cheap rate electricity, my electric bill is now incredibly low (this includes powering my heat pump and charging my EV). For anyone on the fence about the benefits of installing solar and ideally a home battery, ‘fear not’, the business case and actual performance (of course it requires sunshine) is very favourable. Not exactly a short term payback but definitely in my case a 6-7 year payback on a system designed to perform for 20 years plus. With regard to choosing GlowGreen this was a good choice. The price and professionalism of everyone involved was 2nd to none. I did have a small problem during my installation but the issue was efficiently sorted with little fuss and it hasn’t affected my opinion that GlowGreen are a very reputable and professional company, whom ‘importantly’ you can trust and who are very competitive on price but ‘not’ because they rush the installation or use cheaper components or questionable sub contractors, quite the contrary, they use high quality components and roof fixing systems etc that should stand the test of time. As we say up-north GlowGreen were ‘spot on. Hope you find this honest and sincere review useful in your decision making. May the sun shine on you! Close
